About: Zoey is a laid-back and independent girl. She is looking for a quiet household with a warm lap to cuddle up on. Zoey does get nervous around lots of commotion and needs a home without children or dogs. She would prefer to be an only pet, but she would tolerate another old, laid-back kitty.

She was originally a resident of our free roam cat room here at the sanctuary; however, she was showing severe signs of anxiety around all the other cats. She was put on anxiety medication, which helped ease her nerves. Ultimately, we felt it was best that she was seperated from the other kitties and she now has a space for herself. She is most happy when she is the only pet and doesn’t have to share attention!

Came into rescue: Zoey came to us as an owner surrender after her owners were retiring and traveling the world. She was very much loved and cared for and this was a difficult decision for them. The transition to rescue was definitely hard on her and she deserves a quiet, loving home to spend the rest of her days!
