Age: 1.5yr

Sex: Male

Special needs: Yes. Diagnosed with Mycoplasma. This is a bacterial infection that attacks his red blood cells. Because of this, he has been displaying multiple respiratory symptoms (runny eyes, runny nose and sneezing). He is currently on meds for the next 6 weeks. Following his treatment, there is a chance of flare ups throughout his lifetime.

About: If Button’s were a dog, he would be a golden retriever! He is a very outgoing and cuddly boy. He has never met a stranger! Button’s loves spending his day cuddling and rubbing up against your legs to show how much he loves you. He does great with other dogs and cats and would make a great addition to any home!

Came into rescue: Button’s was a part of a stray cat colony. He came to us with his colony mate Lucy (also adoptable). When he arrived at rescue, he was very sick. His third eyelids were covering his entire eyes, and we thought he was going to be blind. Luckily, after months of treatment, he has regained eyesight and is feeling much better!
