About: Lucky is a very sweet girl and loves spending time with her humans! She is always down to cuddle on the couch and to give you lots of hugs and kisses. She has good house manners and is also crate trained. She can be dog selective, and she tends to not like energetic or dominant friends. She would do okay in a home with an older dog, or a submissive sibling who will leave her alone. She does great with older kids as well! She does have anxiety, and she is currently on meds to help ease her nerves. She has been working on socializing and building her confidence over the past few weeks. She has already made great progress. We have no doubt that she will make the perfect companion to the right family!

Came into rescue: Lucky came into rescue as an owner surrender. She was a part of a large family with children and a doggy sibling. Unfortunately, she was not getting along well with the other dog in the household. During one of the dog scuffles, one of the children unintentionally got hurt. Due to the safety concern, they felt it was best to rehome her. This was a difficult decision for them, as she was extremely attached to the children (they said she even slept with them at night). Although the transition to rescue has been difficult on her, we know her perfect family will come along. She has a lot of love to give!
